As a member of the Employee Experience team, the Employee Experience Specialist creates genuine, trusting working relationships with employees and is excited about creating a fun and positive work culture, all while challenging the status quo and reinforcing our company’s core values. Primary responsibilities include driving successful pre-employment and on-boarding practices, communicating with applicants, new hires, employees, and acting as the expert on Employee Experience operational processes. This position is also responsible for providing meaningful responses to employee questions about company processes and procedures. This role is also the liaison between the Employee Experience Department (EXD) and internal infrastructure teams to improve the technology landscape for department operations and ultimately the employee experience. The role requires an individual who is highly detail oriented and has exceptional communication and customer service skills in a fast paced work environment.



These are the essential duties for which you'll be responsible for

 

  • Responsible for driving a successful employee life-cycle experience including, candidate attraction offer communications, pre-hire and related requirements, on-boarding, a memorable orientation experience, managing relocations, background screening, reference checks, placement, and I-9 verifications
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on internal cPanel benefits, programs, policies, procedures and referring employees to the PEO as needed to ensure employees have accurate information and guidance; involves coaching employees to gain this expertise on their own
  • Builds great relationships with employees and newhires by creating continuous engagement opportunities with employees and following up with new hires throughout their first 90 days of hire
  • Collaborates with internal development teams in order to improve and automate EXD business and technology needs and processes
  • Owns final off-boarding administrative process, including assisting with exit survey interview with EXD
  • Responsible for internal programs including, cPWellness and the Education Assistance Benefit
  • Tracks ApplicantStack analytics to ensure that jobs are being filled quickly and efficiently, and notifying EXD and the department manager when time-to-fill ratio is insufficient
  • Submits and tracks FMLA managed by the PEO, including liaison with the PEO and notification to Accounting and associated Department Managers upon triggering dates
  • Maintains and develops EXD internal wiki with the assistance of the department's Executive Assistant
  • Collaborates and assists with non-complex employee relations issues, escalating to counsel as needed
  • Proactively involved in EXD development
  • Adheres to the policies and procedures of the company

Additional Duties and Job Responsibilities:

  • Stays current in job knowledge, administrative efficiencies, and employee relations technologies by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations
  • Back-up other Employee Relations Division positions as needed and occasionally submit payroll data
  • Reduces administrative pain points

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong skills with Word, PowerPoint and Pages
    • Strong skills with spreadsheet software, such as Mac Numbers or MSExcel
    • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to internal systems
    • Tech savvy
  • Education and Certification: Bachelors degree or equivalent years in a HR or similar capacity;PHR or SHRM-CP certification
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of HR experience. Scrum/Agile experience with tech talent preferred

  • Detail-Oriented: Highly detail oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding data entry and analysis; thoroughness in accomplishing tasks in all areas of work; independence in double-checking the accuracy and quality of own work product to provide accurate, precise, and consistent results
  • Organization and Time Management: Strong organizational and excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Research Skills: Able to gather data, facts and impressions from a variety of sources about prospective and current employees; seeks knowledge about policies, rules, laws, procedures or practices; managing the data flow; classifying and organizing information for use in decision-making and monitoring
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrates good judgment and strong skills in achieving maximum organizational performance and efficiencies with independent discretion
  • Results Driven: Able to independently follow through on daily tasks and assignments in order to achieve personal, departmental, and company goals with minimal to no supervision
  • Adaptability: Ability to handle challenging situations, and resolve issues creatively and effectively. Demonstrated ability to ramp up quickly with minimal training and to contribute immediately in a challenging and fast paced environment. Maintains a flexible mindset, willingness to adapt to change and ability to learn and grow
  • ​​​​​​​Problem-solving skills: Able to identify and resolve problems with good judgment in a timely manner, gather and analyze information skillfully; able to apply independent judgment when needed and to consult with and provide insightful analysis in a team setting
  • Travel: Occasional local and overnight travel may be required, including some interstate travel by air
