Director of Marketing Operations

The Director of Marketing Operations will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and is critical for enabling cPanel’s marketing teams with technology and data. The ideal candidate shines in a fast-paced and global environment, and has a balance of business insight and technical skills. The cPanel marketing team has employees in five countries. Most of the US-based team is located in Houston, Texas.

These are the essential duties for which you'll be responsible for
  • Champion a metric-driven culture and processes within the marketing team
  • Establish clear and relevant cross-department marketing goals and metrics
  • Use data to identify opportunities to optimize marketing activities. Monitors key operational metrics and responds as necessary to ensure consistently superior operational performance.
  • Designs/implements/manages robust processes to support new business and operational activities
  • Track campaign metrics to provide ROI for marketing activities
  • Manage budgeting process, updates, and results
  • Manage and administer the marketing tech stack with a focus on scalability
  • Design compliant & scalable processes
  • Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing databases
  • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and further optimize performance
  • Uncover opportunities to optimize conversion across the lead generation and sales funnel, as well as optimize and improve campaign tactics
  • Improve functional capabilities of existing marketing tools, and define logical integrations between them.

 

These are the skills, requirements, and experience we require

  • 7-10 years of marketing or related experience plus a proven track record in marketing operations or similar function.
  • Experience driving transparency in across global organizations and fast-paced environments.
  • SaaS experience.
  • Flexible, results-oriented collaborator.
  • Knowledge of various marketing automation and CRM platforms
  • Proactive, organized, with an eye for detail and combined with excellent project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Tenacious and resilient with the ability to evolve amidst an innovative business environment.
  • Experience with measuring marketing campaigns, budgets, and building reports and dashboards
  • You live for data and have experience presenting data in a simple manner
