Marketing Data Specialist

These are the essential duties for which you'll be responsible for
  • Identify key metrics to help effectively measure and improve digital marketing efforts
  • Continuously conduct marketing research to uncover business opportunities 
  • Utilize reporting/analytics to assist teams in building alternative business models and projections  
  • Identify trends and correlation between business actions and business performance on different customer segments in order to provide actionable recommendations
  •   Provide customer insights to drive changes across Marketing, Product and various teams strategies and ultimately to improve customer value and key business metrics
  •   Identify business opportunities, conduct financial/ROI assessment and develop projection metrics for sales and opportunities
  • Lead Marketing Research efforts and work with UX team to understand customer segments and their needs, profile our customer base and monitor the base composition change
  • Create & maintain dashboards with a variety of internal/external data sources
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of the company

These are the skills, requirements, and experience we require
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
  • 3 - 5 years experience in a B2B/channel Marketing position
  • Experience with standard business software such as Microsoft Office or iWork required. Prior experience with formal marketing research
  • Familiarity with social media, SEO, PPC, email and website marketing, online analytics and more
  • Familiarity with Linux or the web hosting industry is a plus but, not required
  • Familiarity with integration and execution of Business Intelligence tools

  • Self-motivating: Must be proactive in staying up-to-date on current trends in both web hosting and marketing, while maintaining a high level of continuous development and self-learning.
  • Conflict resolution: Able to bring disagreements into the open and attempts to manage them collaboratively while providing and receiving constructive feedback.

Business Acumen : Able to navigate complex business models and generate potential revenue ideas.
Marketing Knowledge : Content, digital marketing, analytics, and campaign development.
Projections/Predictions: Able to develop projections and statistics that will be used to make decisions.
Education/Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
