Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Communications & PR to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive communications strategy that enhances our company's reputation, drives brand awareness, and positions us as a thought leader in our industry. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Director of Communications & PR will be responsible for managing all internal and external communications initiatives and leading a team of communications professionals to execute on communications initiatives and ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.


· Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy and plan that positions our company as a thought leader in the industry.

· Lead all internal and external communications initiatives, including media relations, content creation, social media, employee communications, and events.

· Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts and industry influencers to secure positive coverage and thought leadership opportunities for the company.

· Collaborate with senior leaders, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize communications opportunities that will drive brand awareness and thought leadership.

· Manage a team of communications professionals and external agencies to execute on communications initiatives and ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.

· Develop and manage budgets for communications and PR initiatives and regularly report on results to senior leadership.

· Serve as a key advisor to the Chief Marketing Officer and other senior leaders on all communications and PR matters.


· Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

· 10+ years of experience in communications and PR, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful campaigns in a B2B software or technology company.

· Experience managing a team and working with external agencies to execute on communications initiatives.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and content for a variety of audiences.

· Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and manage conflict effectively.

· Ability to think strategically and creatively, with a results-driven mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.

· Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in communications and PR, including digital and social media.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
