Product Marketing Specialist 

WebPros delivers innovative technologies and solutions to enable individuals and businesses to build, operate, and grow online. Our products help manage servers and websites, as well as online marketing and billing. The WebPros portfolio includes cPanel, Plesk, WHMCS, and more.

Position overview:

 

You will collaborate with the Product Marketing Manager to execute brand positioning, messaging, feature prioritization, and overall go-to-market strategy for new or existing products, shaping the voice of the product itself and helping to grow our partner and direct-to-consumer base. You will work closely with management to provide reporting and suggest changes to better meet our company goals.

 

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

 

  • Translating product development timelines into product marketing initiatives – including timelines, deliverables, audience-based messaging, CTA’s, etc.
  • Identifying new opportunities for revenue growth based on existing product offerings
  • Collaborating across departments to successfully launch, promote and communicate about new products and/or features
  • Assisting with development of product launch plans
  • Building segmentation across profiles to target focused messaging to relevant audiences.
  • Conducting and leveraging market research to inform decisions about new marketing opportunities.
  • Assisting other team members and partners where needed to support overall goals.
  • Working with other teams to build reporting and analysis on product marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with content production (documentation, videos, web copy, blog posts, and more) to educate internal and external stakeholders and articulate the value and benefits of our products to the world.
  • Being the voice of the user based on product data, research, and prevailing market trends.
  • Supporting the Product Marketing manager in measuring and optimizing the user journey as it relates to product feature adoption and usage.

 

 

Eligibility Requirements:

An ambitious, dynamic, forward-thinking, respectful, and authentic individual with creative ideas that also meets these qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree and 2+ years of equivalent professional experience
  • Consumer-focused with an empathetic approach to problem solving
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle and product marketing strategies
  • Data driven
  • Creative problem solver willing to think outside the box
  • Previous experience is product marketing and/or product management with a SaaS or enterprise-level software company.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.

 

Required Experience:

 

  • Product development standard procedures, release cycles, agile development process, etc.
  • Product marketing best practices and processes.
  • Displaying impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
  • Persona-based strategies and initiatives.
  • Discovery and exploratory strategies for information gathering.
  • Social media, SEO, PPC, and both email and website marketing.
  • Thriving in a collaborative, cross-team capacity.
  • Marketing research, particularly within the web hosting industry.
  • Interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, problem-solving, time management, and general research.
