The Product Marketing Manager will act as the marketing focal for cPanel’s marketing teams, responsible for go-to-market strategies, customer and competitive intelligence as well as enablement. This role will also serve as a technical expert within the marketing team.
The cPanel marketing team has employees in five countries. Most of the US-based team is located in Houston, Texas.
These are the essential duties for which you'll be responsible for
- Expert at cPanel’s buyers across all segments
- Drive powerful product launches to our partners, customers, and prospects
- Coordinate across teams to align on go-to-market strategies/tactics to support product roadmap
- Work with product management team to cluster opportunities into logical, high-impact product releases
- Develop technical content for sales and marketing
- Analyst briefings
- Create collateral and website product content
- Benchmark complementary and competitive offerings
- Maintain understanding of current and emerging technologies that can impact cPanel
- Create unique value propositions that align to relevant audiences
- Gather feedback from the market on use cases, buying criteria and required functionality
These are the skills, requirements, and experience we require
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
- Deep technical understanding of cloud, SaaS and/or hosting technology
- Ability to effectively interact at all levels of the organization and with external parties
- Must be persuasive and a quick thinker
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- Additional consideration will be given for internal process and systems knowledge
- 5 years of experience in a product marketing, product management or product evangelist role
- Strong leadership cabilities
