Description

Position Overview:

The HR Business Partner III will provide consultation and support to define strategies that enable accomplishment of global business objectives. Will develop, implement, and support employee programs and initiatives in the areas of HR Operations and Employee Relations. Develops workforce plans and contributes to company performance by providing tactical and strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies in support of the business objectives.. Will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, consultation, policy interpretation, application, performance and compensation management consultation.

 

 

 

Essential Functions:

· Develops, executes, and maintains HR programs, policies, initiatives, and procedures that are scalable globally and align with the organization’s business goals and objectives

· Provides day-to-day tactical HR support to ensure operational streamlining and a high degree of engagement; support includes general guidance on company policy, and assistance with employee relations.

· Works cross-functionally with the Global HR Team, Accounting and/or Legal to create, update, document, or improve policies, practices, and procedures

· Responsible for successful managers/leaders training, improving work-trust relationships, identifying gaps in leadership style and skills, and developing action plans and training materials leadership strategy

· Partners with the HR Comp & Benefits Manager in the design, implementation, metrics analysis, and advancement of Compensation and Benchmarking, Leadership Training, Performance Management, Engagement and Career Development

· Owns front-line intake and resolution of employee relations concerns; escalating for assistance when an investigation is required

· Participates in HR projects; partnering with the HR Global team and stakeholders to ensure projects/programs are smoothly rolled-out and adopted by users and stakeholders

· Coordinates the FMLA/ADA process, collaborating with Compensation & Benefits to ensure compliance with legal requirements

· Works with the external law firm to manage visa and green card process

· Manages annual employee engagement survey rollouts in partnership with the HR Team; monitors employee engagement trends as adheres to the policies and procedures of the company

· Stays current in job knowledge, participates in educational opportunities and professional organizations

· Other tasks and initiatives as assigned

 

Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience
• 6+ years of employee relations experience
• Experience working with enterprise HRIS systems
• Familiarity with FMLA/ADA preferred
• Experience working in the tech industry a plus
• HR certification (SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred

Compliance: Ability to determine and ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local laws and regulations with a focus on the FLSA, ADA, FMLA, EEOC, and knowledgeable about existing and proposed legislation
Time Management: Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize and to use time effectively in an unsupervised fashion, able to complete projects in a timely manner
Adaptability: Able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
Problem solving skills: Able to identify and resolve problems with good judgment in a timely manner, gather and analyze information skillfully; able to apply independent judgment when needed and to consult with and provide insightful analysis in a team setting

 

Work Environment and Physical Demands

 

Ability to work in an office environment. Specific abilities required by this job include: Near vision; hearing; ability to transport oneself as needed throughout the day; ability to sit and use computer workstation, including keyboard and visual display terminal, for extended periods of time; manual dexterity (eye/hand coordination); repetitive arm/hand movements.  cPanel is a 24/7 operation and nontraditional or extended hours (including weekends) may be required occasionally
