Summary:

As a Manager, Product Marketing you will determine positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

Our job is to demonstrate how cPanel’s products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. 



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Together with the product team, educate both internal and external stakeholders on our product features and their benefits. 
  • Collaborate in content [website] sales documentation, product videos, website copy, blog posts) to articulate the benefits of our products to the world. 
  • Assist sales on calls when appropriate to provide deeper dives into the product. 
  • Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our product. 
  • Measure and optimize the partner journey as it relates to product feature adoption and usage. 
  • Advanced quantitative and deductive skills. Ability to distinguish between the signal and the noise and make data-guided actions 
  • Be the voice of the user within the product team based on insights gleaned from product data, member research, and prevailing market trends. 
  • Partner closely with product, engineering, and design teams to shape roadmaps 
  • Manage two direct repots 

Required Skills:
 
  • BA/BS degree or 5+years equivalent working experience. 
  • Past experience in product marketing, and/or product management with a SaaS or enterprise software company. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills -- there is a heavy amount of writing, presenting, and selling ideas in this role. 
  • Prefer working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity. This role requires you to work across functions and departments to bring to life the product. You are at the center of our entire organization, constantly interacting with teammates and partners. 

Preferred Experience:
  • A strong v-team leader with exceptional cross-group collaboration skills 
  • Able to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively from the IT professional audience to through to senior level management and business owners  
  • Strong analytical skills. 
  • Excellent communicator. 
  • Experienced in core marketing communications functions.

The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. The work environment may be in either an office setting, at the company’s data center, or at a third-party location for training.
